Microcosmic Mack

As its nearing the end of the work week, I've noticed that I've only had one entry this week. Why? Because I just don't feel like writing anything.

Is that wrong?

No. Not at all.

There hasn't been any major news or great happenings in the small world of Rob Mack, so I've haven't been in a scribing mood. I always say that if I do have a boring week, I would regale the reading world of past dealings with women. But I don't even want to write about that.

My mood changes, for I am a classic Gemini. Now next week, or even tomorrow, I might have an essay for the masses to gage upon. But now, I don't have much to say.

Oh yeah, I have a tentative date with the young chick from the previous story on Sunday. Maybe I'll write about it, Maybe I won't (LOL).

I do have a question: Ladies (men feel free to contribute as well), the summer is coming and I'm trying to get my cologne game up. What are some scents that drive you wild? I currently have one keeper on the team, which is Jean Paul Gaultier. But what else is out there that I might be sleep on? (And please, don't tell be about AXE. LOL)

Have a good weekend, and as always, Thanks for reading up on the boy,

Robert Mack

What up Mr. Mack! Oh how I love a good smelling man. If I am out & about(shopping, etc.) & a man that smells good walks by, I will stop him & ask what he is wearing.

Here is a list of the ones I have inquired about & from what an 'old love' used to wear. Be careful though, what smells good on one person, might not smell the same on the next.

Happy for men by Clinique (love it)
Cool Water by Davidoff (always a favorite)
L'EAU D'ISSEY by Issey Miyake

LOL. My first reaction when I read your response. I know that. I'm not a "cologne on top of must" guy, like Bilal told Kid on House Party "Man just throw on some Brut and meet me at the party". Lever 2000 Fresh Rain has been a mainstay in the soap dish for the last few years.

@SandraMack
Yeah I think I might give that a try. I've heard from a few women about the Black.

@ChezNiki
Drakkar? Not sure about that, I would have to smell that. Can't you get that from Walgreens? LOL.

@Paula D.
Happy? Never heard of it, I'll be sure to check it out.
Cool Water? Reminds me of my father back from about 93 (Snoop Dogg: I got the Johnsons Baby powder and Cool Water Cologne)
Issey Miyake? I used to wear it some years back but then everybody started wearing it and now I absolutely hate it. I get naseous whenever someone has it on.

I think I might go with DKNY.

I hope you're playing on the $5 scents. Jovan and Aspen, right? Old Spice? (LOL)!!!
Frankincense? Aint that what the Africans wear? Don't know if I'm ready for that.

It's hard to say. I don't wear too much cologne. The last stuff I bought was Cartier last year. I just finished off some Issey Miyake, which worked like a charm.

Welcome back! I used to love the issey, but peoples overdid it. If you put on too much it becomes unbearable. But for a minute there I didn't mess with nothing else. Smelled the Sean John unforgivable. Didn't like at first, but it's grew on me. Virgin Girl works at Carson Pirie Scott (some of yall may know it as Bergners or Boston Store) so I could get a lil discount if I want it. And why does all of the Curve's smell the same? They're tryna dupe people by changing the bottle and putting in the same scent. LOL
